Flotsam The people we represent are always at the mercy of accidental happenings; they are the flotsam and jetsam of life. Flotsam is the floating wreckage of a ship. You'll often hear it used with the word jetsam, which refers to floating objects that have been thrown from a ship, usually to lighten it before it sinks. Jetsam definition is - the part of a ship, its equipment, or its cargo that is cast overboard to lighten the load in time of distress and that sinks or is washed ashore.

Flotsam is a survival town-builder set in a flooded world. In it, the player manages a floating village community as it moves around the ocean. The player recycles garbage and scrap to construct buildings and collect fish and drinkable water to keep the village alive. The player encounters dangerous sea animals, visitors, and ruins.
